Did you know that honey and bees are mentioned more than 60 times in the Bible? Honey is a recurring image symbolizing abundance, prosperity, God's blessings, and the sweetness of God's word. Join us on Thursday, April 9 at noon for a luncheon and talk with a theme of bees and honey. Lunch will be based on foods from Jesus’ time, or at least versions of them. Choices will be baked cod, honey lemon chicken, rice, salad, feta loaves, and a honey or date based dessert.
