Next Week’s Sermon: March 7&8
Dying to Doubt, Living by Faith / As we continue our Lenten series “Dying His Death, Living His Life”, we consider the dynamic of doubt. So much of our lives are spent being skeptical of so much, from news to relationships to experiences. Does this ever transfer over to our life of faith in Jesus? When Peter walked on water at Jesus’ bidding, but then sank into the depths, crying out, “Lord, save me!”, Jesus asked: “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” Why would we doubt when it is Jesus holding onto to us, dying for us, rising for us, never letting us go? Faith keeps our eyes on Jesus, His person, work and promises for us! Come, strengthen your faith in Him! To prepare for worship, read Matthew 14:22-33.
