Next Week’s Sermon: September 12/13

Walking With Jesus: RENEW / Have you ever bought something that is “refurbished”? This means something that has been worn down or broken has been made “like new”. This can happen to God’s people as well. St. Paul encourages us “to be renewed in the spirit of your minds.” This renewal is important because even God’s people can be made “like old” again, living their lives in darkness, ignorance and hardness of heart. This renewal only happens through Jesus, in whom we have been united to in baptism. This renewal is ongoing and daily as we die to sin and rise to new life through the power of the Spirit. As we look towards St. Paul’s vision for 2027 and beyond, “Walking With Jesus In His Word And Into The World: Renew, Refuel, Release”, we will discover that our shared life and ministry together is constantly being renewed by the abiding presence of Jesus and His Spirit. Come and be renewed! To prepare for worship, read Ephesians 4:17-24.
