Next Week’s Sermon: February 14/15

Down the Mountain / We want glory now. We want the transformation without the cross, Easter without Good Friday. But Jesus shows us the only road to glory goes directly through the cross, not around it, but crucified to it. He has revealed His Glory upon His cross and carried that terrifying burden in our place by walking that road for you. There is now no more condemnation left for us who are in Christ Jesus. It is finished.  Jesus now speaks to us the comforting words we all need to hear: 'Rise and have no fear.' To prepare for worship, read Matthew 17:1-9.
