Next Week’s Sermon: September 19/20
In His Word: REFUEL / Words can have multiple meanings. Even the word “word” can! When it comes to the “Word of God”, this can apply as well. As St. Paul puts it, there are the “Scriptures”, the “sacred writings”. There is also the Word of God “from whom you learned it”. And these “are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.” As we look towards St. Paul’s vision for 2027 and beyond, “Walking With Jesus In His Word And Into The World: Renew, Refuel, Release”, we see that the Word of God is the fuel God gives to us. The Word of God powers our faith in Jesus, our living for Him and our witness to others. Come and be refueled by God’s Word! To prepare for worship, read 2 Timothy 3:14-17.
