Next Week’s Sermon: April 18/19
Christ For Us / We conclude a two-part sermon series on the road to Emmaus. Two disciples walked away from Jerusalem on the worst day of their lives, and the risen Jesus walked right beside them. It's a story about grief, shattered hope, and a God who moves toward us before we even know to look for him. The disciples on the Emmaus Road didn't recognize the risen Jesus until he opened the Scriptures and broke the bread, and that's still exactly how he meets us today. This week we explore how Christ opens blind eyes through his Word and his Table, and how grieving wanderers become passionate witnesses to make Christ known. To prepare for worship, read Luke 24:25-35.
