Next Week’s Sermon: March 28/29
Blessed is He / As we continue our series “Dying His Death, Living His Life” into Holy Week, we once again see Jesus riding into Jerusalem to shouts of “Hosanna!” and “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” But how blessed can Jesus be, knowing what awaits Him in Jerusalem? Opposition, betrayal, conviction, crucifixion and death. Blessed is He? Yes. For Jesus rides into Jerusalem to secure our salvation, so that our story ends in eternal life in Him. No matter how many times we go with Jesus into Jerusalem, we know the story: forgiveness of sin, defeat of death and blessings forever in Him…for us…for all! Come and rejoice at His coming! To prepare for worship, read Matthew 21:1-11.
