Next Week’s Sermon: July 19/20
Finding Our Place / There are times when we get so caught up in the business of life that we lose sight of where God calls us to be. We all have things in our lives that claim our time. Whether it’s our families, a demanding work schedule, volunteering, or recreational activities, those aren’t bad choices, but sometimes the right choice, the necessary thing, is to just sit at the feet of Jesus and find our rest. To learn from and fellowship with Him. And that’s what sitting at the feet of Jesus is all about. Not just sitting to sit, but clinging to Jesus and His Word for You. It’s about receiving our hope and rest in Him. So, then, let’s choose the good portion as we are invited to sit at the feet of Jesus, just like Martha was. We are given a place of privilege that Jesus provides for you and me through His death and resurrection. To prepare for worship, read Luke 10:38-42.
