Next Week’s Sermon: June 28/29

Set Free For Freedom / What does freedom actually look like for you? Do whatever you want, whenever you want to? Even if it hurts or upsets someone? Or does it look like serving someone through love? The freedom Paul describes to the Galatians is not the kind that gives an opportunity for sinful living, but a freedom that serves others with a love that is born of the Spirit. The fruit the Spirit produces in us is not attributes we aspire to or a code of conduct we strive to obey, but is Christ Himself living out through His body, the Church, in the world. “For freedom Christ has set us free!” And that freedom comes only through the Spirit of Christ in us. Come and hear this Good News for your freedom! To prepare for worship, read Galatians 5:1, 13-25.
