VISION 2026: Next Steps Same Jesus

For the past three years, St. Paul’s vision has been rolling out The Bridge. The Bridge is St. Paul’s discipleship pathway, our way of visualizing what it means to live out St. Paul’s mission: We Live To Know Christ and Make Christ Known (Matthew 28:16-20). The Bridge is a four-stage journey of spiritual growth:

• CONNECT with our faith family;

• ENGAGE in ministry and life together;

• GROW in a gospel-centered, Biblical worldview;

• GO into our community living a missional life.

The Bridge will continue to be St. Paul’s pathway of discipleship and spiritual growth as we head into the future. It will continue to provide a framework for ministry, to sustain energy for ministry and to help people grow in faith, hope and love.

Next Steps:

St. Paul has gone through a time of transition with the departure of her last Senior Pastor, and calling her next Senior Pastor, Ben Roberts. We continue to move forward on The Bridge, with focus on congregational areas of ministry that were highlighted from the results of the Pastoral Profile survey, including:

• The rebuilding of our youth ministry;

• Continuing efforts to bridge the families of our preschool with the ministry of St. Paul;

• Further developing our Praise Service worship experience.

Same Jesus:

As we move forward into 2026, our vision includes trusting in, leaning into and depending upon Jesus. As Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” This means:

• We look back on how Jesus has led St. Paul through her ministry the past three years;

• We trust through the power of the Holy Spirit that Jesus will lead St. Paul into the year ahead;

• We trust through the power of the Holy Spirit that Jesus is present with His people at St. Paul as we move forward, one next step at a time, living to know Christ and make Christ known.
