We need YOU! — to sing in the annual Christmas concerts, a favorite of many people both at St. Paul and in the community! There are only 10 Thursday rehearsals plus concert week, and the happiness it brings to people can't really be measured! Why not ask a friend to come along with you, and then BOTH of you will enjoy a night out, and BOTH of you will get to share your love of singing with the community!
This year's concert, The Nativity Symphony, is again accompanied by a live orchestra, and will be presented at 7:00pm on Friday December 11, 2:00pm on Saturday December 12, and 3:00pm on Sunday December 13. Rehearsals are held on most Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00pm beginning October 1 until concert week (just 10 Thursdays), with two rehearsals scheduled for Monday and Tuesday December 7 & 8 of concert week. No auditions are required to join this group, and it is open to anyone in the community who is high school aged or older, and a schedule will be provided at one of the first rehearsals. We very much want to continue this annual tradition in 2026 and will need to order music and book the orchestra very soon!
Worship Choir: The first rehearsal is Thursday October 1, from 6:30 to 7:00pm. This group usually sings on the 1st and 3rd weekends of every month, with one rehearsal on the Thursday prior to the scheduled weekend (so you're not committed to rehearsing every Thursday). Please prayerfully consider joining one or both of these groups and bringing that singing friend with you! Sign up ASAP in the Gathering Space (to be sure we order enough music) or by emailing Cherie.
