THIS IS OUR LAST TEAM TRAINING BEFORE RACE DAY! Please keep us in your prayers as we weather sore bodies and persevere. Our St. Paul Team World Vision has been training for the Detroit Marathon/Half Marathon together on Saturday mornings this summer — 7:00am at Huroc Park in Flat Rock — rain or shine. “We run so they don’t have to.” We are fundraising to provide clean water to those in developing countries who don’t have it. Many walk miles a day in unsafe conditions to gather unclean water to carry home. Our team is training and fundraising all summer leading up to our October 18 race.
