Join us on Thursdays at 9:00am in the Youth Room — we can’t wait to see you!
The MomCo
Whether you're a soon-to-be mom, seventh-time mom, teen mom, adoptive mom, stepmom, single mom, or any other type of mom, you are welcome here! We've all been placed in this time and place in history as moms raising the next generation. Our hope is that you will find encouragement, support, relevant teaching and friendship with other women who are in your same season of life. We are confident that as you become more involved in our group, you will be better equipped to face the challenges that come with motherhood.
MomCo is a non-denominational Christian organization. You do not need to be a churchgoer or from a specific denomination to join MomCo. We welcome women from all faith and non-faith backgrounds and beliefs. The vision of MomCo is to see no mom alone. After all, we mother better together and better moms make a better world! We are so glad you are joining us this year and cannot wait to get to know you. Our leadership team is excited to see how God will use small things this year to do big things in our lives. This year let’s root for each other and watch each other grow!
( MOPS is now The MomCo! )
OUR 2024/25 THEME VERSE:
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” — Isaiah 43:18-19
God is making a way for us
Do you ever feel like your pilot light has gone out? Like the spark that once fueled your passion, clarity, and energy has been dimmed under the mental load of motherhood? Perhaps it’s the need to make 1 million decisions a day (so many decisions!) that causes you to never really feel confident you’re doing it right. Maybe you are in a season where you feel you are not showing up well for yourself or others; just going through the motions, trying to get to the end of the week.
That is about to change because we’re declaring this the year of new things. A new season needs a new strategy, and we choose wild, contagious hope. Hope is not a passive exercise in wishing; it’s an active approach to living life engaged. Hope is generative. In Proverbs 13:12 we read, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life.” Hope provides clarity, vision and vitality.
Looking at the adversity and division that seems to be seeping into the fabric of our culture, hope offers another option – the opportunity to see new paths and ways of living that we might not have considered before. It reminds us that we can make a positive difference in our families and communities and that tough times will not paralyze us. Hope requires courage and trust because to see the new thing God is doing likely means going into the wilds – paths that take us through uncomfortable places and challenges that nourish our deepest longing.
God is doing something new, and we can get our hopes up. It’s time for Wild Hope.
What to Expect
Together, we meet to encourage community and support. To shape you, ground you, and teach you. MomCo rallies women to be more honest, to feel more equipped, find their identity and grow their faith by journeying alongside one another. We believe moms make the world a better place and we are committed to making sure every mother knows she’s not alone. MomCo @ St. Paul meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 9am.
CURRICULUM & FELLOWSHIP — Each meeting will have a topic to discuss through a live speaker or video provided by MomCo International. Afterwards, discussions help go deeper into topics where we talk with, laugh with, cry with, share advice with and relate to each other.
FOOD — A rotating brunch and refreshments.
CHILDCARE — Qualified and loving care for the littles.
CRAFTS — Fun, easy, artsy crafts and activities for the least crafty of all of us.
We also have a Book Club, Play Dates, Special Events and More!
